Mustache in March

Last week, on my way home from work, I looked down for a split second and didn't notice everyone slam on their brakes in front of me. I jumped on my brakes but tapped the car in front of me. I followed them into a nearby parking lot to take care of it. When I stepped out of my car, I thought they looked a little uneasy. I asked them if they were okay, apologized and asked them to look at their car to see if I caused any damage. I couldn't figure out why they were acting so weird, I thought I was being nice and cooperative. They took a very quick look and mumbled, "It looks fine". Almost without a word, they jumped back in the car and drove off. It took me a minute, but I finally realized why they were so nervous. During the last month I had been growing a beard as part of a mustache competition with my co-workers. That morning was the "revealing" and I had carved out one of the most disgusting mustaches I have ever seen. All worth it. Not only did I win the competition but it may have saved me from a ticket by scaring the poor couple I ran into.

P.S. If anyone else tries to write AC/DC around their lighting bolt side burns, make sure you don't do it in a mirror. I tried and it was written backwards on my face.

New Foods

Colby is constantly trying new things. This last little while his favorites are the chair leg, and his big toe. We decided that we can't keep him from tasting the chair, so we just try to clean it frequently. As for his toes, I guess they are probably cleaner than his fingers. He is such a funny little boy.

Trip To The Dunes

Kurt and I went to the Sand Dunes this last week with Tony, Annita and Jacob. We had a blast. Kurt and Tony have gone a few times this year, but the girls decided to give it a try. Lets just say there aren't any pictures of me on the motorcycle for a reason. I am pretty bad. Some friends of Tony and Annita came along and were nice enough to let us ride their four-wheelers. They also brought their sand rail. It was so fun! We had a great time and can't wait until Colby will be able to ride with us.
