Colby is definitely a daddy's boy and loves wearing his hats. Today I caught him going through his hats, trying them on. He picked this one and didn't take it off for an hour. I was surprised he was able to see around it.

Loving Life!
Now that Colby is walking, he is enjoying life so much more. Which means I am enjoying life more. He loves collecting rocks in the backyard and bringing them in to me. I have started letting them pile up for a while before taking them out now. So many rocks! He also loves going to the park. Things are just so much more exciting when you can climb up to the top and go down the slides.

Another Boy!
Nope. It's not just overindulging at Thanksgiving. We are expecting another baby in May! We were lucky and had the opportunity of finding out the gender early. Looks like Colby is going to have a little brother to play with. We are excited for Colby to have a little buddy around to hang out with. Mommy is getting a little boring.

Thanksgiving Trip To Utah!
This Thanksgiving was so fun. We were able to go to Utah and spend some time with our families. It was a refreshing break after Kurt's long week of finals. Colby had such a good time playing with his cousins, climbing Grandma's stairs and especially eating bacon for breakfast. We finally found something the picky eater will eat...bacon. Who would have guessed?
Unfortunately the weather wouldn't allow Kurt his much needed motorcycle ride, but at least he was able to grow his rat tail. During finals Kurt looked pretty stressed, so I asked him what would make him feel better. He thought for a split second and said, "I think I can get through finals knowing that as soon as it is over, you will let me cut in a rat tail and keep it for a few days." Wow! If thats all he needed to get motivated to study, let's cut more rat tails. Luckily he cut it off before the Thanksgiving party.
