Is it that time again?

Well, I think it came a little early this year, but the Arizona heat is definitely here! Today we reached 102.  The boys don't seem to mind at all.  It has always amazed me that even in the middle of the summer when it is 115 degrees, the kids just beg at the back door wanting to play outside.  They love swimming in our little blow-up pool in the backyard, and can't get enough of the sprinklers.

Colby trying to catch me.

One hot day last week, Kurt came home from school and decided he was hot enough to dive into the kiddy pool with his clothes on.  I think he regretted it the minute he did it.  Colby didn't even see his cool move, and he ended up with a bad headache that night from bending his neck weird.  Looks like we are getting too old to be doing what we used to.  So sad.

Colby decided it was too warm to come outside while I did the lawn, so he ate his raisins and watched from the back door.  He didn't last too long with all the excitement.  He slept there for over an hour.

Lately...

Visitors
Over the last couple months we have had a few visitors.  It has been really great.  This term has been killer for Kurt.  He litterally has to study all day every day.  So...needless to say, visitors are very nice for me and the boys.
First, Kurt's sister Lisa and their family came and spend my birthday with us.  We had so much fun.  The boys sure enjoyed having the cousins around to play with.  Thanks for making my birthday so fun.  It wouldn't have been the same without you.

Last week, my sister and her family came to Arizona for their yearly family reunion.  They were able to stay with us, which was so fun.  They were nice enough to let us tag along on some of their family activities.  Thanks for the great time.

The day my sister's family left, my parents came to stay for a bit.  My dad stayed for the weekend, and my mom was able to stay for a few days longer.  It was so nice to have the company.  We just wish we had taken more pictures.
