Ultrasound Pics

At my last appointment the doctor offered to do some 3-D ultrasound pictures.  It was so fun to see the baby in a little more detail.  Still kind of hard to see, but we think he looks quite a bit like Colby.

Vacation Week!

We are always so excited when Kurt has time off from school.  We had so much fun having him around without any studying.
Over the break we had a great time taking Colby to the Phoenix Zoo.  We had a great time.  Colby is really starting to like animals and loves pointing at every one saying "WOW".  It is his favorite word.
Colby was a little hesitant around the goats.  He warmed up to them after a while.

We were also able to go to Las Vegas for a couple of days to visit Kurt's sister and their family.  Kurt's parents and brother Brett were also able to make it down for a couple of days.  It was so fun to see everyone and to spend time with them.  We had a great time!
Colby loves his cousins!

Having fun at the park.

Colby especially loved jumping on the trampoline.  He did not want to stop jumping.

Thanks everyone for making it such a fun trip!

Visitors!

My parents made a quick trip to visit a few weeks ago.  We had such a great time!  Unfortunately Kurt was pretty busy with studying and didn't have a ton of time to relax.  What a hard worker!
Colby had a wonderful time playing with Grandma and Grandpa.

Thanks for making the long drive down to see us.  We had so much fun!

Sprinklers Again!

It seems like every weekend we run into a sprinkler problem.  Colby is probably the only one who likes dealing with it.  He has so much fun playing in the holes daddy digs in the yard.  Pretty soon he will be able to fix them himself.

Christmas In New Mexico

This year we spent our Christmas in New Mexico where both of my sisters live.  My parents and brother came out there as well.  Colby had a great time playing with his cousins and exploring the new scenery.

One of our favorite things was playing the Wii with the family.  We were all extremely surprised when my mom got hooked too.  She was so fun to watch!

Christmas Eve dinner.

On Christmas Eve we had the kids act out the Nativity scene.  It was so funny watching them act out their parts.  Brings back fun memories of when we did the same thing years ago.

Colby in the glasses he found in his stocking.  He thought he was so cool.

On Christmas day we hiked to the top of a volcano near my sisters house.  The weather was perfect for the hike.  Colby had a great time climbing on the big rocks.

Playing a fun Christmas game with the family.

Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible.  We had a wonderful time.

Loving Life!

Now that Colby is walking, he is enjoying life so much more.  Which means I am enjoying life more.  He loves collecting rocks in the backyard and bringing them in to me.  I have started letting them pile up for a while before taking them out now.  So many rocks!  He also loves going to the park.  Things are just so much more exciting when you can climb up to the top and go down the slides.

Colby is definitely a daddy's boy and loves wearing his hats.  Today I caught him going through his hats, trying them on.  He picked this one and didn't take it off for an hour.  I was surprised he was able to see around it.

Another Boy!

Nope.  It's not just overindulging at Thanksgiving.  We are expecting another baby in May!  We were lucky and had the opportunity of finding out the gender early.  Looks like Colby is going to have a little brother to play with.  We are excited for Colby to have a little buddy around to hang out with.  Mommy is getting a little boring.
